Re:Your first motorcycle...... 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Started off on a Rupp minibike in 1965. Then in 1972 got a Suzuki 90 with low & high gearing. Rode the *@! out of it, about 5200 miles. Then stepped up to a BMW 1000 about 1977. Great motorcycle & much more reliable than the cars then. But had to have a Harley & stepped up to a HD Superglide in 77 & kept it about 2000 miles. It vibrated so bad it shook a mirror off, but it was cool!!! Also had a Honda CB500T during this time & it was a very nice scoot. I then bought & sold quite a few scoots when I was in the car business & hated the Gold Wings I bought. You really sat on them instead of in them & handling was terrible. Quit riding for about 10 years & got the fever back about 6/7 years ago. Had a 2005 V-Star 1100 with all the go fast goodies & a 90 Heritage Softail. Sold both of them & have had the 2005 Midnight Star for about 2 1/2 years. Love it and you would have to break my hands to get it from me.

Mine was a 1969 CL450 Double overhead cam Honda. It was so cool and I rode it about 15,000 miles and then foolishly sold it to a guy who traded me his 175 Kawasaki for the down payment. I then got a 250 Suzuki, and not too long after that a 1971 CB750 K1 Honda. I put a lot of miles on that scoot with a Vetter fairing and Hooker 4 into 1, Lester Mag wheels, Hallogen head light, electronic ignition upgrade, K&N air filter, and lots of chrome. Wish I had kept it, but then I would not have had the 1976 CB750 or my current Road Star My Roadie is at least to me the perfect motorcycle for me.

Well first bike was a Suzuki GN400. Bought it at the junk yard. They let me make payments on it and let me take it when it wa paid for. Made that last payment, they explained which one was the gas, clutch, brake.....and away I went.

from there moved up to a kawasaki GPZ750 turbo....loved that bike, then onto a sukuki gxr 750. then onto a Hrley full dresser (flhtcu). then to my Roadstar and last year added a Roadking classic to the mix

My 1st bike was a 2 speed moped maybe 25 mph at best. Then a fox mini bike around45 mph. When I turned 17 I bought a new Honda super 90 and now I am cool. Then a 160 twin a 305 dream a 305 scambler and finally a 450 Honda. Quit riding for 20 some odd years and bought a 805 Kaw Vulcan, sweet little bike. Traded that in on a new 1700 Roadstar in 07, now thats what Iam talking about. Massive V-Twin with gobs of torque. Then I bought an 89 Goldwing with all the comfort. Sold it kept the roadie. Bofish
