Has anybody had any luck matching paint? 2 Years, 3 Months ago
I have had my fairing at the painter for nearly 2 weeks. He is trying to figure out the paint codes for the White Pearl on the 2006 Roady. I gave him the Yamaha codes and the Colorite codes. He has been working with the local English Color guy. Does anybody know what the base and top color codes might be for a common paint. This guy's advertisement says he is a Custom paint shop so I figured he could match the paint. He has the mixing rack in his shop. Has anyone else had this problem?

I was having a buddy paint my MS Bat Wing to match my 03 original purple and cobalt. He rode my R down to the local paint store and had them scan it and a computer mixed the paint. The two tone paint job came out perfect. I do not know what the machine is called that read the paint, but he explained it was like a bar code reader. He is good at mixing, and an old school paint and body guy but has to resort to that system on occasion. Does great work out of his garage. Check with you local paint stores. Good luck.
