Really it was a matter of necessity, my Hyundai is in the body shop after a buddy of mine from the Lodge smacked my front bumper! Our parking lot at the Lodge is grass & it was rainy & muddy. He just got a new Silverado & wasn't used to it. The ABS kicked in as he was trying to park & SMACK! He's paying for all repairs, $518 worth!

My hats off to you! I'm a die-hard cold weather rider, but I know that the cold down there feels much colder than it does up here. I lived in Meridian MS for a few years and I know how slippery that mud is. I parked the car at a friends trailer one night, I parked on the grass (very slight slop), it rained that night, I came out in the morning and my car slid to the gravel driveway almost 15 ft away Now that's slippery!

Hope you get your car fixed soon.

OUCH just the thought of that HURTS! 5-6 years ago I could do that but it seems each year I can tolerate the cold less and less. I end up with to many aches and pains. Getting old SUCKS!

Car's done, but can't pick it up 'till Tue. Oh well, the old girl needs the exercise anyway. Temps won't be as bad next couple of days. I saw on the weather it's supposed to get up to 70 next Friday. Maybe my hands'll thaw out by then!
