Expert Boarder Posts: 404 Re:Rode to work this morning 1 Year, 3 Months ago   Really it was a matter of necessity, my Hyundai is in the body shop after a buddy of mine from the Lodge smacked my front bumper! Our parking lot at the Lodge is grass & it was rainy & muddy. He just got a new Silverado & wasn't used to it. The ABS kicked in as he was trying to park & SMACK! I'm a die-hard cold weather rider, but I know that the cold down there feels much colder than it does up here. I lived in Meridian MS for a few years and I know how slippery that mud is. I parked the car at a friends trailer one night, I parked on the grass (very slight slop), it rained that night, I came out in the morning and my car slid to the gravel driveway almost 15 ft away Now that's slippery! Temps won't be as bad next couple of days. I saw on the weather it's supposed to get up to 70 next Friday.
