Guess I need to start making back rests again that backrest is ugly and oversize for what it does.

Do you make bike rests? Any suggestions? I'm sorry but I'm extremely pissed off by that company.

I know there is a big name seat maker that makes a driver seat backrest that's a 2 bolt bracket and has a push button removal on it. A friend of mine looked at it at bike week 2 years ago at a vendor tent. I will ask him what company. I'm thinking Mustang though or Cobra.

I just received a follow-up email from the rep.
She apologized and said to make it up to me, she's sending me a fed-ex return kit. Uh lady, if you screw up with the order, it's a given that you're paying for return shipment. Making it up to me a gift certificate or an apology phone call. Geez.

Not to stir up kryinggame again (sounds like you had a mess) but, I was wondering if anybody has the CWI adjustable driver backrest mounted with hard bags, passenger back rest, etc.

My passenger backrest is mounted to fender side bolts along with the bracket for stock hard bags as you can see from the pic below.

Any thoughts on whether or not the CWI backrest will mount on the same front fender bolts? I guess it really becomes a matter of how long the bolts are. I may also have to add a spacer (washer) to the rear fender side bolts to keep things flat for the bag brackets.

I guess the real question is where do the driver backrest brackets mount? Under the rear backrest brackets? On top of it? Etc., etc. I did send an email directly to CWI asking some questions but, I have much more confidence in the members of this forum than a CSR at a company that wants to sell me something and let me figure out how to make it work.

No man, you're not stirring me up. The tech at CruiserCustomizing did. Can you believe that Fed Ex finally came (last night) to pick up the backrest. I was waiting for the tech to email me a return label. She kept telling me that they're having a problem with Fed Ex. Finally, they sent Fed Ex to my house to retrieve the package. Now, how long will it take to get my dang money back.

Anyway, the backrest uses the same bolts as your bag brackets will. The backrest is attached to all four bolts on the rear fender.
