Just curious, was hard to see the needle number they used and the pump nozzle. Needle looked like 98 nozzle 50 or 60? The tps brkt sure does look like Ken's.

Certainly is a well worth investment, glad my stock carb had issues that no one could figure out what to do. If they had, probably would have not gone to this carb 5yrs ago.

In the thought process now of air filter set-up to really allow this carb to gulp air.

Better throttle response especially if ya do the TPS mod. I don't get less than 40mpg ever, and upwards of upper 40 on a solid cruise. My last test cruise was last week, 147 miles at 65mph ...48mpg another run of 121 miles at 80mph...40mpg this was using a GPS for speedo accuracy.

If I do anymore mods to my Baby it might be this one.
(with the TPS mod).I heard that alone makes a big differance
when using the 42.

OK I'll bite , what exactly does this very expensive carb really do for you !!!
Is it gas mileage , or is it performance ?
From what I'm reading the mileage is no better than a stock carb
Was Yamaha that far off with the 40mm ?

Cause it is just so flippin cool!!

More power on top end and easier to tune. I'd love to see a dyno chart to see how it effects the bottom end.

The 40 is a better carb from the 'get on and go' under the various conditions that most would encounter.

I find as good as the 42 may be I still have to fiddle with it under extreme temperature or altitude changes.
