Any more PCS seats yet? 4 Years, 10 Months ago
Just checking to see if Dryriver or BB or anyone got their PCS seat yet. Still really liking mine. Added a chrome seat rail to mine today. I must like it if I'm buying it jewelry...

Not just no, but heeeeeeellllllll no! Not a call, Not an email, Not an indication that they might have even started making it yet!

I have never dealt with anyone like this place, and their reasoning is beyond understanding. I owned retail businesses for 40 years, and cannot imagine I could stay in business treating customers the way they do.

The countdown has begun. August 2nd, I will return from an 800 mile roundtrip to central Oklahoma. If there is still no verification that they are ever going to deliver a seat, they will be called and the order will be cancelled! I may be slow, but I'm not stupid and even a wonderful guy like me can be pizzzzzed off eventually.

I probably will be in the market for a mustang, ultimate, etc. I'm sure I'll be check the archives for information on what everyone likes. This is the last trip I take on the Yamaha seat.

Oh yeah, Thanks for asking.

I did order one today - I will let you know what I think sometime in late 2008 when it arrives. Truth be told I really need to get the stocker off, the price is right, and I can tolerate the wait vs. the large $$$$.

White star. Their reasons for my seat being so slow is that my bike is an '07 model and everyone is slow about returning their used pans. (?)
According to the order I have, if I don't return my used pan or the new seat within a couple of weeks, my credit card will be charged another $125! I can't believe people are keeping their used seats, when they can buy them cheaper on ebay.
I really don't know what the problem is, but they've had my order since May 18th, and don't even have the balls to send an email. Sorry, but unless something good happens in the next week to 10 days, I'll be springing the big bucks for something else and badmouthing PCS everywhere I can.

So what's different about the 07 seat pan??? Sounds like Bull S**t to me. I've been thinking about trying something different but PCS will never get an order from me.

I have a 1600 seat and a 1700 seat in the garage (in addition to the one I'm sitting on), and the P/N for the "pan" is the same # 1600 or 1700. So the excuse "we don't have any pans to build your seat on yet" ain't holding any water with me! BB

Basically , what I'm saying , is that they could build your seat from any 1700 R*, not just an 07 model.

Post edited by: Big Bear, at: 2007/07/28 09:29

Add me into the "waiting for ridiculous periods" mix. My potato chip has been on order since the last week of May. Hello, August.

It would seem to me that, regardless of them utilizing the "it's cheaper, so the longer wait is justified" line, I cannot imagine the reasoning behind the length of delivery.

They must be working 3 day work-weeks or something. Needless to say, this will be my last order from PCS, that is, if I ever receive my first.

Sounds to me like they are doing the seats out of their garage part time while they work another job during the day. I paid more for my Ultimates but they said two weeks and I got them in two weeks just like they said. To be honest I wouldn't trade them for anything they are great. Hope you get your seats soon guys.
