Nice to meet you BB. Hope your friend found his key, and glad he brought a spare.
Hope you guys had a safe trip home.

I test rode the Tour Deluxe. It is a totally different animal that is for sure. No where near the torque of the Road* but a smooth ride. Very easy to handle. It would take some getting use too. I am hoping when I get Bucks lowers its helps out with the buffetting from under the windshield that is the biggest difference as far as the ride between the bikes, and what a windshield on the deluxe. My Road* feels more like me, but that is probably because I am use to it. I am sure with the true cruise control the longer rides would be more enjoyable, but it just didn't feel like I was riding a bike, just to quite...

I will just dress my Road* up a bit for the longer rides and stay with it for many years.
