No ... that and 3/4" are HD axles.

So, the road star is a 1" axle? I'm confused on this now. The original question was about the Road star axle and not the HD correct?

Correct. What I'm getting is that r* is a 1" axle!!!!!

Roadstar rear axle is 20mm (.787)

yes.
I got some info from Loonies website but some of his info is confusing. I'm in the process of buying some Fat Spoke wheels that fit HD but since the RS has 1" axles, I'll buy the fat spoke wheels with 1" bearings.
