actually the new harleys are 25mm , then you have the 1" ones and vertain models/older ones yet 3/4" lol...

I got some info from Loonies website but some of his info is confusing. I'm in the process of buying some Fat Spoke wheels that fit HD but since the RS has 1" axles, I'll buy the fat spoke wheels with 1" bearings.

why not buy HD wheels with 3/4" bearings? Buy a solid 3/4" axle from L&D (R* are tubular) and not have to mess with reducers. You can do it either way, and there are threads on both ways on the forum.

Let's see if I can clear this up.

R* is a 20 mm ( .787"

HD is either .75" or 1" (25 mm)

harley has a 25mm and 1" axle the new touring bikes are 25mm not the 1" - dont ask me who the hell came up with that, but wheel bearing size is affect.
