Need some riser advice 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I think I need some risers to get the bars up and back a bit. I have a fairing so I don't want to get them too high. The problem is even at 6'1" I have to reach too much for the bars. It causes me to slouch a bit in the lower back resulting in discomfort.

Any idea? DT risers?

Thanks, Jerry

I run the Yamaha Medium risers on my bagger and with the stock bars they put me just right.

Curt, did you have to change cables or brake lines?

Ditto to what Curt said. I installed my medium riser with the stock bars this winter, put 200 miles on the last two nice days and I'm real happy. Still dialing in the final adjustments. I also moved my floor boards forward 2 1/2" for some extra room.

Barons make some risers that are just pull back. keep at same height, pull back is 2 inch. Can also try on scootworks and see what they carry and cruisercustomizing. Most risers are 4 rise 2 pull back. The 4 rise is confusing, that generally would mean an extra 2 inch over stock

No Jerry it is tight but if you slightly loosen the fitting on the brake line and rotate it to get the most length out of the line it works. The cables are fine.

Went with the Barons DT riders about 3 months ago. Definitely great. Take a look at them.

I 2nd the motion with the Barons DT risers. Put those on with stock bars when I rode the bike. Now the bike belongs to my wife who is all of 5'2" and it's comfortable for her also.
