You screw the top in a "little" and if you get too much "slack", you screw the bottom out a "little" john   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access. #355825 FNG17 (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 297 Re:If I want the drive train to engage a bit sooner, 1 Year, 2 Months ago   At the Clutch Lever, loosen the round thin lock nut, turn the the adjuster CCW and it should engage quicker. You're backing the adjuster screw out and taking the "slack" out of the cable. Do it a little bit at a time.
