While riding are you supposed be looking through or above your windshield?

Just above it. But some people prefer looking thru it. In a hard rain your better off looking above it.(experiance)

They say above but me I like somethin in front of all of me except when I ride my bobber. I was sure glad I had the tall windshield when I got caught in a bad rain storm. Rain drops at 15-20 mph hurt like hell in the eyeballs.

Bought my windshield right after being caught in a hail storm with no cover for miles.I like the tall one.Might even put it back on when bug season starts.

Well, I have heard both ways and right now I am on the edge, I can stretch and look over it but usually looking through it. I ask because I was riding home this afternoon into the sun and my windshield is fairly dirty and I couldn't hardly see anything!

that's one of the problems looking thru it but riding into the sun is tough either way. It is nice in a hail storm to be able to get down behind the windshield. (another case of bad experiance)

curt's right those big 'ol rain drops hurt like

They sugest about 1 to 2" below eye level. Thats where mine is but I find myself slouching somtimes and looking through it. I prefer looking over especially on curves or twisties. Looking through it on curves and then glancing to the right ot left throws me off when my eyes hit the edge of the shield. I can duck down when raining a little to avoid the rain if need be.

I've always heard that your supposed to look over it and your nose should be at the height of the windshield. I always have some type of glasses on when riding and in the rain I get more water on my glasses if I'm ducked down behind the windshield than if looking just over it.
