color 4 Years, 10 Months ago
I bought my 2002 R-star used. The guy called the color "indigo". However the only color near to that is very, very deep blue according to what I can find on the Yamaha websites. Did Yamaha call the color indigo or not? Would there be an easy way to find the color number? Just need to do some touch up but want it to match. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot.

Look up your bike here - http://www.color-rite.com/ - I've used their paint before and it's always a perfect match. Their names are a little weird so don't freak. My paint is called Bluish White Cocktail #1. I think the color code sticker is on the frame under the seat or maybe on the bottom of the seat. Not sure on that though

You're welcome. Those guys have saved a lot of riders from the little nicks and scratches we get. And big jobs like painting bags or fairings to match.
