A nice day to be the boss... 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I"ve been working so much I don't really know if I'm coming or going. Today, I had some work to do on a new house. It is almost ready to sheetrock so I had to catch up on some last minute changes.
As with many construction projects, another contractor showed up today that was not supposed to be there until Monday. He was spraying the expanding foam insulation. Well, I didn't really want to be there while they did that so I decided to leave.
The project is only a 1/2 mile from my house and it was a really nice day. Then the phone rang. (If you've ever been around me, this happens frequently) Seems my sister locked her keys in her truck. 50 miles round trip. Sooooooo....
I grabbed my unlock tools, stuck them in the saddle bags and let my company fill my tank so I could run a "service" call. Sometimes it's good to be the boss.

When we were at the M&G, I thought WE were going to have to call you from the campground (while you were at the campground) to talk to you.

You sister again??

Draw backs to being the boss is that sometimes you go without a check to pay the bills.

It has it's good points and bad. At least at 5pm you can turn off your brain or at least when your not on call. But then you can control your own destiny.
