Considering selling my bike...question? 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I'm considering selling my bike and of course looking for getting the most I can. Should I try to sell with my seat and saddlebags or put it back together with the eyebrows and original seat, then sell the seat/saddlebags/sissy bar separately? Which way would you go?

Selling in this economy is tough , getting a good price is even tougher
You sure have a good looking ride there !!!
I would think selling off the add-ons might fetch you a few extra dollars.
Good luck on your decision

Great looking bike. I really like the seat and bags. I would think you probably would come out better selling the seat and bags seperate. They say you cant add the extras in the price of your bike. It will sell for about book value depending on mileage and cleanliness.

Is that Indian Bags? If not who makes them?

Thanks
Mark

you'll get more by selling parts than selling as a whole. I have a couple of thoughts. Although you have a pretty steed there, a lot of folks like to customize themselves to make it individual. And, folks are still tight, financially. Get what you can for the bike and then sell the parts all over. Sell here; e-bay; craigslist. It may take more time but you'll get more if you break up the parts and sell them individually.

Good look

I'd be interested in your seats & saddlebags if your return the bike to stock.

The seat and saddle bags would look awesome on your bike.

I've got 59,000 miles on it and been looking at a couple of other bike options. I've looked at KBB and it's putting the price around $4000 for a stock bike. I'm not thinking I could get what's fair for the way it's set up is the only consideration for returning it to somewhat stock.

The seat is a Corbin dual tour that I had custom shaped. The saddlebags were made for and the seat/sissybar recovered by Rocky's Seats and Saddlebags.
