#359890 Transam1 (User) Gold Boarder Posts: 650 Trade 4 Goldwing ? 1 Year, 1 Month ago   Wow how weird is this, My Paypal payment was sent to the wrong address so I'm in Limbo for my seat. Today an older guy I hadn't seen in 2 yrs rolls in and says he is selling his 88 Golwing. Says I had told him to give me 1st shot. Told him I didn't have cash, only way anything could happen is if I wanted to trade. Figured he would say no, but he told me to bring my bike by. Now what ? Always wanted a Wing but not sure I want to get rid of my Roadie. My bike books for $4915 his $4490. Nice shape only 32,000 miles on the wing, but D**m that thing looks like an electrical nightmare. You have a really sharp Road* and that is a little old for my liking. 32k means that it has done it's share and sitting as well. He used to have a Goldwing and now has a Roadstar. He normally rides solo and the Goldwing will toss you around if only solo, it's made to carry more of a load. Where in the world did you come up with that? Solo or two up... a 'Wing is a very, very, nice motorcycle and really fun to ride. Very responsive and easy to handle. Having said that, I would not trade your nice Roady for an '88 model Wing... especially with only 35K on it.
