I'll tell ya this much with Hardkrome, all their pipes are loud, so if ya like loud, and don't care what the neighbors think............ They do make a good well constructed pipe, and they won't blue either. I had the 2.75 straights, but got rid of them

Youtube is the best place to find R*'s with sound bites and different pipes. Give it a shot.

Here are the Road House Dooleys. But, I don't think they make them anymore.

I had Samson or Shogun pipes on mine before I went with the Freedom duals. They sounded excellent but the baffles were welded in them. Got a friend who has the Hard Krome 3" pipes on one of his Roadies and it sounds excellent too. His other bike has V&H longshots and it sounds great too. Pretty much any aftermarket pipes are gonna sound good on a Roadie!!

Mine came with the V&H longshots, sound good but not that great of pipe, the front half has heat guards but not the back half and the chrome isn't near what the factory chrome is.If you want V&H I would look at powershots, they cost more but I'll bet the construction is a little better. I like the looks of Hard Chrome with the 3 inch size, they sound good and look a little better made than my long shots.Good luck with your choice and yes the Roadstar makes them all sound great.

Everyone is AWESOME... thanks for everyones input!!!!!!!!
I'm going to drill the stock pipes tomorrow and see what that gets me.. just to hold me over until I can get the pipes.. the Hard Krome 3"'s are out of stock most places i've looked... ((

just doing the stage 1 on the drilling so I don't think i'll need a PCIII as of yet, but will definitely have one the time the Hard Kromes come in stock again..!!!!!!

Thanks again...
