was he short shifting ? or just horrible rider, the roadliner i did ride deff had more balls then my warrior and my warrior had my balls then my roadie (1700)

He was on a Raider which is the same motor as the Roadliner but has different size rear pulley.
He wasn't short shifting this was flat out balz to the walz drag race standing start probably half mile run.
I will let Dan tell how it went down he was sitting at the light right behind the guy had a first hand view, and most of the people know him on the forum and don't know me.

BSG's Roadstar ain't even close to stock. Yep.....He put it on a Raider buddy of ours. It's even sweeter because our buddy with the Raider thinks his is the fastest thing going. I'd say closer to a mile from a dead start at a red light. It was close......but BSG got 'em. BB

And no....the Raider rider has no issues holding the throttle open. Nor is he a "chicken" (though I don't advocate street racing). He just got beat.....plain and simple. BB

High comp pistons , intake , carb work (done by yours truely ) , BAK , V&H 2/1 exhaust , 31 tooth front sprocket , Raider rear wheel (which re-gears it more due to lower profile). I've helped John (BSG) with just about everything He has done on his bike. He is very competent with the wrenches (did all of his own work) , and built that thing to cook. It does. Am I forgetting anything? BB

Oh yeah , BSG weighs about a buck 80. That doesn't hurt things either. For those that drag race , rule of thumb , every hundred pounds you knock off is worth a tenth of a second. I've got him by 140 pounds.

No , stock heads. The Dyna 3000 was causing starting issues (been through 2 of them) , so it's sitting on the shelf in the shop. Runs really well on the stock box though. Stock Carb jetted. BB
