Crank Vent Help 1 Year, 1 Month ago
The previous owner had the crankcase vent in the picture intalled when he got the pipes. Problem is now that the filter is saturated it gets an oil residue on the rear pipe and pushrod tube.

At first I was thinking of getting another filter for it, but I'm not sure what make this unit is and the previous owner doesn't know either. Does anyone here recognize it?

Better yet, I was thinking of eliminating this setup completely. I've read how others here have hidden theirs under the tank or seat and would like to see pics and maybe some part numbers if I could. I like the idea of cleaning this area up completely. Thx.

OK, nver thought of that. A couple questions then, if you don't mind.

Did you just leave the tube open ended or put a filter on it?
How did you route it?

Ran it behind the rear pushrod tube, under the transfer case & zip-tied it to the frame w/o the filter.
