I've never been on a HD. I'm wondering if there's a rideability difference btwn our 2 bikes. For example, all things being the same and not modifications, is there a difference in the ride btwn a Roadstar and a Fatboy?

HD's are beautiful bikes and maybe I'll have one when I get old (like 40) but what's more superior about them over Roadstars?

I'm not looking for hypotheticals but from guys who rode each bike and know the differences.

Thanks
Maybe I will get one went I'm old to only 53 now

G'day Rich. I understood it to be a joke make. I didn't get offended just yanked the chain back the other way is all.

I haven't had SPAM for years, used to come in a can with a key to unwind the seal. Tasted like s*!*.

Spammers ride Harleys...

It's true.

Tampa's trying to stir the pot... I currently have both, they are a totally different ride but I love both of them. I have had 3 HD's and the R*, if I build another it will be a R* due to price and the fact that not everybody has one. HD's are a dime a dozen.

I didn't say that all HD riders are Spammers. I said that "Spammers ride Harleys"...

It was a wine-induced joke. Sorry if you guys took offense. It wasn't my intention.

Rich

I had both. The R* is more nimble and rides better than my old HD.

I also race an 07yz450f, Love my Roadstars, Bottom line is if your funds are unlimited and you're looking to buy a beautiful museum peice, buy a Harley. I myself would rather put my money down on a bike built by the same company that builds the R1, and the most technologically advanced motocross bike in the world, not a bike built by a company that has tried and failed miserably to build any kind of a machine capable of competing in any kind of a race. Alot of R1 technology in the Roadstar
