I hit a patch of cement that some one had busted a bag in the road at an intersection. It was just powder no rocks in it at all. The rear went around and I almost lost it but didn't. You can never tell what you will run into you have to be alert every second. Glad your OK and the bike is fixable.

What say you guys??

I can tell you from experience, we have had quite a few accidents caused by diesel fuel on the roadway. Most all of our wrecking companies around here are very good about cleaning it up. I can tell you one thing, water makes it about 100 times worse! It becomes worse than ice. We had a driver once that forgot to put his fuel cap on when it was raining. He spread it through about 4 interections before he figured it out. He didnt report it because he knew that it would be a huge Hazmat bill for the company. We ended up with about a dozen wrecks out of it. All you can do is ride safe and look out for the other guy.

Glad you are OK and your bike for the most part.

I've had two incidents at Wal-Mart with fuel/oil. Put my feet down to stop and foot slid on the stuff. It was all I could do to keep it up.

The stuff is nasty and like someone said when it gets wet, ooomph

"What say you guys??"

I say, Glad you are OK. It is perfectly natural to think about all the what ifs. They will fade. Know that you are now a better MC driver because of the accident.
