I rode a Venture for 10 years and never touched the carbs. I have owned 4 Gold Wings, with a grand total of 275K all with four carbs. and never touched any of them... Leave them alone and keep fuel stablizer in them through the winter. Seems like on the Clinic lot of carb problems are self inflicted!! I rejetted my Roadstar after installing a BAK and 11k later still haven't touched it again.. Butch

Carbs are fine unless tampered with or left with gas in them for a sustained period of non-use. I agree with Agpilot , kept up , they will give years of trouble free service. BB

Thanks, Jay and Kai. You guys are who gave me the idea. I took my wife for her first ride, with the tour pack, tonight, after buttoning everything up. I am going to wait a little while before I take it all back apart and polish the new parts. I want to ride for a bit.

I'll post some new, finished for now, pics tomorrow.
