Not much, maybe 1/2", but I can adjust that. There are tabs that you insert into the clevis end that changes ride height. Once I get the air gauge on there I can get a better idea of where I want to be and fine tune the height. I got out for the day saturday and put about 100 miles on in and at first I was still bottoming out on big bumps until I realized I was running it way too low.

Fantastic job again. I'm liking everything you've done to your bike.

Between the lathe and a small welder you can pretty much do anything. Everything else is just basic hand tools. Thanks for the compliments guys so far I'm pretty happy with the way it all turned out. I'm waiting on a custom gas tank for a chopper I'm building so when I get started on that I'll post it up here. When I'm done with that I plan on building a tricked out bagger from a stratoliner.

Wow. It just amazes me how someone like you can do all the tin work, and turn thoughts into real metal. What a skill you have. I work in Employee Safety and Risk Managment and when I saw a picture of you grinding some metal and you wearing regular glasses I thought to myself, I hope he doesn't get an eye injury and then I saw where you did and are now are wearing goggles (Personal Protectice Equipment) PPE. Sometimes I see pictures of folks spray painting their bikes in an enclosed garage and are wearing surgical (paper) mask as breathing protection. Even some are wearing the N95 paper mask. Well, if they only knew that those type of breathing protection does nothing for fumes. They are designed for air particulates like dust not fumes from painting. Ventilation and prperly fitted air purifying cartrige respriators with the corrrect filter cartridge for the particular chemical ( hydrocorbons) should be used.
Anyway, what terrific work you do! I only wish I had the talent. Can't wait to see you finish up and post pictures. Keep it up and work safely.
Mark

That is just awesome, I love doing stuff like that. MY SO says she thinks I like working on bikes more than riding them.
I am always taking something apart to make it better or just as preventive maintenance.
Keep up the good work!!!
