Man ... sure am glad I dont use a shield must suck having to worry about your nuts falling off or how to clean between them..... ....Coug

Same issues here. Been thinking about what to do about it.

I'm considering completely disassembling then windshield, cleaning all the plastic panels, then running a thin bead of clear windshield sealant along the edges where the panels overlap. Can anyone think of a reason this is not a good idea?

I'm not running my shield right now but maybe someone who is could try just taking the slider off and going for a ride to see if it even needs to be there.

hey Musky whats the matter bud you still suffering effectsfrom the
hurricane that blew thru the other night.
chunt that sealent will harden and yellow on the plexi.
As 1700 said you can get by without that small piece.
