Buddy of mine went into the HD shop yesterday 1 Year, 1 Month ago

to buy a new bike, yes, new,.....he is rather short, so he was sitting on the bikes to test the heighth, the only one he could reach the ground comfortably was the new lowered FatBoy, the sales-rep came up to him and said, sir, we don't allow people to sit on our bikes, he said he was willing to buy one when he found one that his feet would touch the ground comfortably, the dude told him to get off the bike....he went across the street and bought an "07" Suzuki Boulevard 1500...he's happiern a pig in shit, nice little scoot, stupid HD sales rep

Like anything else I guess there are hd dealerships and then there are HD dealerships. I've never had that problem at Kent's in Abilene - sit on it or even take one for a ride if you want.

Ya, my buddy got a 20 large settlement on one thing or another, had the cash and everything, got the Suzuki for 6 large and only has 6K miles on it, saved himself 10 large in the process

The Harley Davidson in Danbury, CT encouraged me to sit on all the bikes, Screaming Eagles included, even put them upright. In the end, I ended up buying my 08 Road Star with 150 miles on it from them. Don't judge all the dealers by one. Glad your friend got a great new ride.
