saddlebags? Are those those things that hang out on the sides and are heavy and provide wind drag?
If it dont fit in the tool bag it dont go.

Unless of course the wife is along then there is a rack that gets added on the sissy bar and a T-bag backpack and then some throw over....dare I say it.... saddlebags. Looks like a f***ing Conestoga wagon with all that crap on it. It's a motorcycle damn it not a truck!

Well, saddles. Of course!

Around town; disc lock, bungee cords and net, small first aid kit, a 'space' blanket, two pair eyewear (clear and sunglass), odds and ends tools wrapped in a micro fibre towel (the stuff I needed when I was re-jetting the carb), extra towel, a plastic trash bag, stocking cap, gloves, bike cover (in case I have to leave it at work overnight), 2 glow sticks, tire gauge, some fuel line and a few feet of cord.

Ratl.

I use of of those mini bags to go underneath my headlight. I keep a lock on it but I normally carry:
1- small towel;
2 - Tools;
3 - Bottle water;
4 - Granola;
5 - a knife;
6 - (I like the idea of $20, just in case I find a whore on the highway);
7 - Bandaids;
8 - Cut cleaner (in case I take a fall); and
9 - Hipflask filled with Whiskey.

I keep the snub nose loaded on my side with 5 specially made boys)

Curious to see what you guys keep in your saddle bags at all times?

Stuff!

Mostly empty, so that when it gets hot I can put my jacket in one, and lock my helmet in the other...

Right side just lint free cloths. Right side, tire plug kit, 12volt air pump, small tool bag, assorted tools, allen wrench set, Frotogs rain suite and maglight. I carry a magnetic fanny pack on the tank with: camera, cigs, glasses, IPhone, Ruger LCP or Glock 19.

I also have a spare key next to the stator under right cover. Oh shoot, now everyone knows!
