Harley street glide rear fender 1 Year ago
Just curious if anybody knows how much modification would have to be done to add a harley street glide rear fender to our bikes?

Re:Harley street glide rear fender 1 Year ago
i know the 08 and earlier bikes run a small fender.. i tried a 07 street glide rear fender on my roadie with a 180/55 18 tire and it would not fit at all..

the newer 09 up street glide fender would be a better fit its wider, and would line up more with the roadie frame rails.. still be some modifying, but i dont know if it would work perfect or not. would be worth a shot.. when i threw the Sg rear fender on there just for shits and giggles it looked really cool.

easier way is to just get a rear fender from baddad.com

Well, I just purchased a 09 rear street glide fender so your saying it's defiently wider and can take a 180 tire?

The 09 glides run a 180 tire. So....yeah it will fit the tire don't know about fitting a Roadstar.

I'm sure there will have to be some fabricating just wasn't sure on how much. I think the end result would look pretty sweet though.

i had a 200 on my '11 sg - so you have wiggle room. 09+ harley changed the frame.

if ya like the taillight you can buy that and make work, they make that style for Roadie or you could just replace the hole bike with a Harley
