That's right...I recall now that yours are 14's. I am trying to decide on the Road6 or something else. I like Yaffe's too. As mentioned I was settled on BR's but need them sooner...may end up just waiting cuz they are very nice. We'll see. I'll be adding either 12's or 14's.

BR's and Misfit both have nice bars, I love the look of the Yaffe Monkey Bars as well. BR's make the crash bars to match, just my opinion but that would look slick!

So I've been thinking about this ape thing for comfort and I think it looks kinda cool too...I have a Wide Open Customs fairing, but I not sure apes would work with the WOC. I stuck a piece of 2x2 inside the fairing, coming straight up off the fork (I highlighted it for a better visual), and took a pic from the side. This does NOT take into account the curvature of the WOC as it comes back toward the rider, right around where the bars would rise up. They may work if they were in line with the forks, but probably not tilted slightly forward. Other fairings might work. I don't wanna tear my bike down again to try apes...

I have the WOC also and the same issue. So far the answer appears to be "bagger apes" that extend back before they rise similar to Yaffe Monkey's and others that flow back then up.

Deadlion -

That's what I'm thinkin...doesn't do much good for the set of Kong bars I have sitting new in the box. Oh well. Can't wait to see your bike with all the new goodies.

Do you have more pics showing the 2x2 or another straight edge coming off the risers pass the WOC? Perhaps side where risers are seen, top, and riders view? My fairing is out for repaint so I'm looking to see how straight apes and the WOC will play together.

I'll take some more pics, but it's gonna be a day or two...just took those real quick the other day to get an idea of what the angle would be like.
