#373944 Vic1 (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 143 kick stand question 2 Years ago   I'm sorry to say that this is a serious question. I've been riding for over 40 years and this kickstand is driving me nuts. Is there a trick to putting it down. All the other bikes I've riden the kickstand gets pushed forward and down. The r* kickstand wants to go out almost horizontal to the frame. I'd grab it with my foot but it would always slip. I greased the pivot point so the stand would move easier. Yup.Mine got harder and harder to put down. Finally sprayed the pivot with some Teflon-based spray and it was cured. For about 900 miles of rain. Then it got tough again....
