New bike in the garage, looking for a good forum 1 Year ago
Hey everyone,

I decided to add some new blood to the garage and ended up with a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 Sportster. Although much smaller than the Roadie this thing is a blast and just perfect for short trips and around town cruising around. (I love the blacked out look). Being 250 pounds lighter than the Roadie really offsets the 883c.i. "powerhouse" as well. And hell no, I am not getting rid of the Roadie.

So my question: Is there is an equivalent forum out there for HD riders? I am looking for advice on pipes, handlebars, controls, and airkits...

Thanks in advance!
-Marcus

I guess you know you can now join the Harley Owners Group - H.O.G. I guess that's about the biggest one around.

Hey Roy? Is that a Chilhowee mud flap on your Roadie? Was it easy to install? Looks like you have the floorboard trim too.

Sorry for the hijack Marcus.

go here http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/

nothing you can't get answered on her but god help you if you post a metric! Not all HD, rather old stuff, HD, Brits etc.

Read the rules and introduce yourself and enjoy.

Ironheads are the 750, 900 (actually 883), 1000. Do you have a 900 or the 883 EVO engine (86 and newer)?

Yes, I got them from Chilhowee. Not hard to install and I'm not any mechanic!
