V&H Propipes vs Roadhouse 2-1 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Does anyone know of a site that I can listen to sound clips of these two pipes?

By the way I have learned a lot from this site. (From the lurker side of the room)

Post edited by: floresrl, at: 2007/08/22 09:36

I don't know a link, but I've had both on my R* already. Both work great. The R/H 2/1 has a quieter idle and low rpm speed sound, and is a lower pipe on the bike itself. But she can make some noise when opened up. The propipe is louder at idle (and above), and seems to have just a little more umph. Both pipes make the bike sound awesome, no losers here. Propipe is cheaper , by around 150 clams. BB

Sorry to butt in Big Bear I think in a previous post you said that the pipes on your bike in the pic was a V & H Pro is that correct. Thanks Jay A.

The pipe in the pic you see right now is the R/H 2/1. I installed the V/H propipe just about three weeks ago, new pic coming soon. BB

Jay, I actually already sold the R/H pipe to a fellow Roadie here on the forum. His screen name is Greeny. The single biggest reason I swapped pipes was because after removing my floorboards and installing forwards, the R/H would drag in aggressive riding situations. The propipe is a higher pipe, with a less likely chance of making hard contact with Mother earth. Both pipes are great pipes, if the clearance wasn't an issue, I'd a never changed them.BB
