Hello Musky,

What do you use to clean your whitewalls?

After you clean your whitewalls what do you use on them?

Thank you, Jeep187

Hey Jeep

Well, I don't clean them as often as others. I used to drive myself nuts detailing my bikes until I realized that she isn't going to stay shiney and be ridden at the same time. When I do the whitewalls I use an SOS pad. A lot of times they don't come out factory white but that's OK with me. They aren't new. They've been ridden. I don't use anything on them after I clean them. I'm seriously thinking of going to black walls when I need new tires. Just because white walls, espacially on a white bike, are a pain. IMO.

I use Simple Green 1 ounce to 16 ounces of water and a small scrub brush, spray the whole tire or the whitewall and do a little scrubbing and BAM super clean... I agree they are very hard to keep white but to me its worth it whitewalls looks awesome on the Road Star....

Well i use bleechwhite and a scrub brush to get them clean then i use SUN OF A GUN ON THE SIDEWALLS . I use a rag to apply it and have never had a problem. and i ride to the edge of the tires quite frequently. Have the floorboard spurs just about worn out. So if you keep it on the sidewalls it ISN`T A PROBLEM and they look great

Like flashback said....used to be Comet and a scrub brush...

Now I use Simple Green and a scrub brush. I vary the strength depending on how dirty they are. In my case that usually means full strength cause I don't clean them enough

I have Metzler Wide Whitewall tires on my bike.

You guys said to clean them with SOS Pads and or Bleech White.

I had to use a little of both but worked great. Thanks to all

Now that they are cleaned should i use any TIRE DRESSING on them like Armoral or Blackmagic Tire Wet to protect them so the white walls dont crack or yellow.

Thanks in advance

NO NO NO. Be happy that they're WHITE again. Most tire dressings will cause loss of traction if appliedto the tread.
