I have mine done by my local Yami Stealer. It was $98.00 for near tire and install. Not bad. Mine has no tube. I do carry a good patch kit and a 12V electric air pump.

Thanks for your replies. I had been thinking of changing my own tires again, after the local Yamaha shop charged me $168.00 to change my rear tire.
Back in the day, we replaced our own, and patched the tubes. But, we did'nt put
as many hi-way miles on as today.

I think $40+ is the going rate for them changing it, so sadly that doesn't seem to far off.

I change my own tires. Bought a set-up from Harbor Freight
($80.00)a few years back and it works great. Its paid for itself along time ago. I only change the tube when it starts looking worn out or has a hole in it.

I also own the harbor freight machine and do my own and have for several years. 3 bikes= more tire changes. I'm with CoyoteMan I don't change my tube everytime, as a matter of fact I ran the same tube in my 2000 for 10 years before it became a trike. And with over 68,000 miles I went through alot of tires but never wore the tube out. But then maybe I'm just daring & stupid!
