Humidity Whats that We dont have that down here on the gulf coast. I find as it warms up if you ride often you get use to it and don't suffer too much. It does cause lots more stopping for ice cream or refreshments which also adds to gaining more weight. We only get a handful of 90+ degree days per year. I love riding in the heat as long as I don't have to stop for too long. But I can't take the cold. On days like that, I'll wear heavy jeans, microfiber thermal underneath, an undershirt, tee shirt, long sleeves shirt and my heavy leather jacket with sleeves and front zipped open. Think it's crazy, think again...all these clothes allow me to sweat, but retain moisture and the air blowing in keeps me cool. this strategy has worked well for me for many years. Start earlier That's what I do Out about 6:30/7:00 ride till about 12:30/1:00 when it really starts to get hot . Couse we don`t have the humidity some of you guys do out there. Under 10% most of the time here . 90 deg. fine riding weather.
