And yes, they will sit atop your head giving the mushroom effect. Anything over in town speeds will choke you and yank your head around with no windshield, in my opinion your safer without in that scenario. I actually turned it around backwards when I was stuck wearing one in Nebraska, helped a bit. Anyone have experience with a 3/4 helmet with no windshield? The carbon fiber is light and it looks good. I will probably get one for myself this year. She finds it to be very comfortable.
