Unfortunately, we are going to need to place at least some advertising near the top of the website. We are trying to be careful about it though. The way you did it Ted is how we would like it to be. Out of the primary page content. I guess if we were looking to make money (as apposed to covering costs) we would have to consider placing the ads in the content. Really don't want to do that.

I have looked at those BBSs. They are all good scripts. Our finalist selection came down to speed (your suggestions are definitely fast) and features. V-bulletin and SMF have tremendous feature sets, and great administrative backends that really give us a lot of flexibility.

I can't believe your forum is that large! Thats incredible. I didn't realize there were so many watch enthusiests.

We appreciate the feedback Ted!

First off, I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed this sight! I was reading here before I got my Roadstar. This sight helped me decide on a Roadstar. I was a Honda guy. I have used several articles from the Tech. Forum also ie removing my AIS, moved my fuel pump under the seat and the “Flip” to slam my bike down.

Advertising: I like seeing the adds of places to buy parts! And I hope to see more!

Picture Gallery: It would be nice to see other bikes. To see what is current on the Roadstar seen.

New Forum: I have no dislikes with this forum. Although I would like to see a for sale forum. A place where we could buy new and used parts from each other.

Thanks
Steve

Thanks CB, we appreciate the feedback.

We put a great classifieds section in, but it has largely gone unused. Part of that may be due to problems we have had with the AOL browser and maintaining user logins there.

The new Forum is just to handle the load. It would look, and essentially be the same for normal usage. But it would allow us to greatly expand its usage here.

I will talk to the other members of the RSC staff about your suggestion for a classifieds forum. That might just be a great way to handle that.

Thanks for the support for the ads. It is the best way we can come with to help pay our costs without having to ask the members for support.

Hehehehe...watches are a little easier to store and hide from the wife than motorcycles Believe it or not there are probably 10-12 very prominent watch fora on the net. If any of you guys ever need a suggestion for watches from divers to beaters to aviators to dress...anything...please let me know, be glad to help!! I have about 25 in rotation now vs. two motorcycles

De nada on the feedback Always glad to give back and I have received some great advice and ideas on this forum!

Regards, Ted
