these pie plates are trim,right..they dont have a function,do they..?? I have em on the 05 w/spoked wheels.. not too crazy about how they look..would be good for a pair if your making enough of them up Ultrastar.. are they the slotted like the pic in the above mentioned old post..?? Those look sharp..

No real function nightstar I think they just look a lot better and I have sloted and solid

I notice that on the back of one of the stock plates is a weight. I was thinking of going to the smaller plates but was concerned about the function of this weight! Anybody got a clue?
