So I finally pulled her out of the shade and she looks so good and you can better see the effects of the fork extension

So once i can find help lowering the back, shes done. I am thinking of buy the adjustable dogbones as listed in one of the tech article as i may be able to do that myself.

I wanted to get them from bilski but they would have taken quite some time. I got mine in three days as they quoted, and thew total including shipping was only $122. Thats a cheap mod for the difference it makes.

Is there any difference between the 1600 and the 1700 in the front end? I see that's what the extensions fit and they have a raked triple tree for less than $500 but only indicates the 1600 also.

In my opinion, triple trees are so integral to the bike that you don't want to buy the cheapest for the sake of $$ or even risk having to modify them. I spoke with bilski and they have not yet come to terms with the demand for R* extension, therefore i and going to start having the made in our fab shop and then plating them . Chrome will be standard but we can plate anything so come one come all.

Since you went the bobber route, it definitely looks better to have lost the covers and extended the legs a bit.
