International Motorcycle Show (IMS) 6 Years, 5 Months ago  
Anybody ever attend the IMS sponsored by Cycle World? Do the vendor's do any wrenching work on site, i.e. change tires, drive belt, etc... IMS will be in Northern California (San Jose) the weekend of 16-18 December, and I thought I would check out the show (free parking for motorcycles).

Hi Toenee,
I go to the Seattle show every year. I've not seen any wrenching being done there, but the show is fun, and for us northern boys, a chance to hang with other bikers while the snow's flying outside. Get to see all the new models, and tons of accessories.

I wonder if thats the same one I catch in Cleveland Ohio... no wrenching there... lots of sales people... few bikers... ~D

That's the one Toenee. The Seattle show is this weekend, and I'm headed over to it tomorrow morning, provided I don't get snowed in here at home. I have to drive over two mountain passes to get there, and they've been receiving a bunch of snow the past couple of days. I got about a foot total at my house this week.

I hope you are driving your car to the show and not riding your scooter. That would be one tough jaunt on the bike in the snow. I use to ride in the snow here in the Sierra's when I was young and dumb. Use to dress like the Michelin man for the snow.

I am going to the San Jose show with some other riders. Hope to see some of you there! There usually isn't any wrenching but you get to see the latest and greatest of the new stuff. You can sit on most of the new bikes too!
