#384724 Curt (Moderator) Never to old to ride! Moderator Posts: 14660 OK GUYS 1 Year, 11 Months ago   I am working on designing a manifold for the R* that is all metal. I bought a HD manifold on e-bay for $10 and I want a 1700 manifold to tear apart and get the metal flange parts from to use on the HD one. If anyone has a 1700 manifold that is all cracked and not usable I would love to have I will pay postage. I'm not positive but I think the head flanges are the same as on a carbed model. Moderator Posts: 14660 Re:OK GUYS 1 Year, 11 Months ago   Fireman I would tear apart a good ported manifold I want an old cracked one that is no good to strip all the rubber off of it and use just the metal flanges. Beside if you don't end up using it you can always sell it to one of the guys here. Dave thanks I never thought of that I will check e-bay.
