If you get enough speed you can load any bike in to any truck.

Bikes only go in trucks or on trailers if they are frigging blown up. Otherwise don't be a pussy...ride the SOB to where you are going. No trailer queens eh?

I've used them and they ROCK!

Thats what I used to deliver a truck out of state. Droped off the trail to a dealer and road the bike home. Didn't have to find a place to store the dang trailer when I got done with it.

I'm thinking vacations with the wife where I want to drive with the wife and have the bike available when I get there. Then don't have to worry about weather or anything.

Would Lariet with tail down work?

I've been to Florida and Washington top help a couple of my little sisters move back home to AZ. Both times I rode there on the Roadie, and then ran the bike up into the back of their rented U-Haul truck and drove that back to AZ for them, while THEY drove their mini-vans.

Great chance to help out, with a BONUS long ride thrown in for good measure!

I haul them in the back of a truck all the time. Hell I have had 2 bikes in the back of a truck (see pic). I bought a V-Star 1100 today and didn't have the trailer and put it in the truck (I always carry my ramps). The key is good ramps preferably arched and the longer the better and good straps. I also look for a hill in addition to my ramp just because it is easier. I have my trailer set up where I can ride up in it and then right up in the truck for when I am hauling a few bikes, but I probably haul more than most. A trailer is easier to load and safer, but in a pinch or if you already have/need a truck then it definitely can be done safely. Make sure your straps are good quality and use at least 3.

The hill is the key, I have put my bike in my truck a few times but you need a good hill where the tailgate almost hits the ground...............

I've done same with a ramp, hill and a full-sized van. Roadies fit inside of them just fine!

I had a guy show up to buy one with a work van not too long ago. I had my doubts, but it went in there. I did take the mirrors off, but beyond that it went right in.
