I have had a lot of inquiry about the seat on my bike. I bought it two years ago and the model is still available on eBay. Yes. It is VERY comfortable. Here is a link:

First of all that bike is just awesome.

Second how did you cover area under the seat, did you fab it yourself or buy a kit? also I see you dehorned it, but that cover and seat are just way to cool.

That looks GREAT! That is also the next step in my Road Star build... How did your conversion to solo spring seat go?

FollowTHIS ALBUM LINK and you will find photos and captions of what I have done to make the seat work. I will take the seat off and take more detailed photos this week and post them to my album so you can see the fabrication. I did it all in garage, and I believe anyone with basic welding skills can make it happen.

I appreciate the compliments.

RoadStarBob...I didn't go with the springs on the seat because I kept the stock swing arm. I didn't want the extra bouncing of both seat springs and a mono shock. It took me about three days to get to the raw fabrication you see. I sprayed a little black paint to keep the rust at bay, but I need to finish sand it all down, body fill a little, then complete with fresh paint.

Thanks 1BADAD. I need to take some shots of it in sun at the next local car show. I think I'll park it next to a ratrod and snap off a shot or two.
