I switched over to the Metzeler ME880 Wide White Walls. I will never go back to the Dunlops, or the Maxxis'.

I would also stay away from eBay. A lot of the tires on there have been hanging or leaning somewhere for quite a while. That could leave them out of round. DennisKirk.com, or JakeWilson.com are good places. Another good bet is to try and find a local dealer that will match prices. It's always good to have a local guy to run to if you happen to have an issue.

Check Motorcycle Superstore ,Rocky Mountain ATV, or Jake Wilson. you will find the prices are within a couple bucks of each other. Look at Dunlop, Metzler, Shinko and Avon

I just put a set of Metz ME880 on mine and I love them! Motorcyclesuper.com and Jakewilson.com have comparable prices...right now I believe Jakewilson has them for cheaper...but I would def get Metz ME880 wide white wall.

Wow!!! I think this might be the closest to a unanimous concensus this site has ever had. Well, of course, I didn't factor in Jona's psyche. Everybody's pretty much come to the conclusion that he belongs in a padded room, with sheep painted on the 10 foot ceiling, so that they can only taunt him.

Every Bike I have ever owned has had Dunlops.
I love their reliability and the way they handle.
Of course opinions vary......
Just one mans humble opinion.

Once the stock set was 3/4 worn out I switched to Metzler ME 880 wide white walls. Will not ever go back. I have a local dealer that is fair on price(about $15 more than Motorcycle super store)and keeps them in stock. I have gone to bringing them the wheels and they mount and balance them for $12 each. plus dispose of the old tires for me.

But for the lower cost option Shinko seem to get very high ratings also.
