I am new and I hope I am in the right place.Has anyone laid thier lic tag down? would you just remove the chrome pice and tuck the wires?thanks for you're time. roadstar

You have to figure out what to do with the signals, but this is what I did.

You are at the right place to find out all kinbds of information for your R*. I still have a stock plate mount on my Roadie so I'm not going to be a great deal of help here but wanted to tell you that we're glad you're here.

I bought a harley lay down plate and for a while I was using a shower neck cut to length the move the signals in close, but now I bought the LED integrated tail light turn signal and got rid of the lollipops altogether.

First change from stock was this....



Then this....



Now this....



Forgot my manners....

Welcome from La. Barons makes a laydown tag assembly with blinders coming from each side of assembly.(plug and play) Put one on a couple of years back, went to a tomestone light last winter.

Like in you're 2nd picture where you still have the blinkers is there a part i could get to do that without taking the blinkers off until I have more funds I just sold my 99 nomad friday and got this 04 roadstar saturday As I was looking the bracket that holds the plate holder on is steel.I was hoping to just bend it back but it looks like steel.I have been looking to see if they sold some sort of new bracket but I guess not! You'res looks good.Thank for the welcome and you're time Mike

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy an eight inch shower neck and cut the straight part off, that's what is in my second picture, you might be suprised what you can get at lowes that is chrome for your roadstar
