They are all fuel injected.

They are great bikes. A friend of mine has an '07 Roadliner. He bought it as a new leftover for $8900. There are definitely some trade-offs that my friend and I have discovered over the past two years he's had his Liner and I have had my Road*.

Here they are:
-Way more aftermarket parts for the Road*.
-Liner handles curves better.
-The Liner is more refined. It does not have the nice rumbling shake the Road * has.
-There is never a shortage of "more throttle" with the Liner. It will continue to accelerate at any speed.

The perfect bike would be to add the handling and acceleration of the Liner with the "character" of the Road*.

The Liner seems to handle better especially at low speeds. It certainly has the POWER, and although there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket parts available, Britt Performance has a package available. This one belongs to my son-in-law. Has the Britt wheels, pipes, rear tire, & fenders. It's an '06 & only had 5400 mi. on it when he bought it. If I'm not mistaken he gave $7400 for it.

That is pretty cool. That is exactly what I would do if I had one . Wait....that's what I did to my Road Star.

That could work for ya Jona, and old strat for an old man. lol Took one out on a demo, it would be my next bike as well, power was great, braking was great, handling was great, only thing that would stop me are 2 items, fuel injection and can't do Dooley pipes. I love having a carb since I love to tinker, but who knows, I might be able to figure a way around it.

I have ridden the Raider and it does share the same motor but the feel is different. The gearing in the final drive is different as well as the frame and tire size. I chose to go the Liner route and currently have two along with a Roadie. I am very happy with the Liners.

Well Jona we think alike, I asked the same questions and the outcome appears that if you can afford it, do it. This what I'm thinkin of it's an 07.

That ad says they retail for $18,000. Man if you let yourself get taken like that you are a sucker. RMC in Renton,WA had a left over '09 for $8900 about a month ago. If I had an actual garage I would have been really really tempted to buy it. Look around Jona there are plenty of good deals out there.
