Harley rotors are just a tad smaller in diameter, but will still work just fine.

what would a tad work out to be? im putting a 6 pot caliper on there and if my memory surves right that caliper would have gone to a slightly bigger rotor. i have the 94-yzf 750 6 pot caliper

If I remember right, Harley is 11.5" and Yamaha is 11.8" Not enough to make a noticeable difference. Slothy ran his that way for as long as I could remember.

fair enough. seen a 21'' dna fat spoke with diamond spokes for $400 on flee bay. matching rotor was like$60 and i need new tires and the front is coming off this winter for a rework so its the best time i figure

That is the best time. Don't buy a new tire, mount it up and then put a 21" on the front.

I will go 21 inch this winter but take a cheaper route. I have an old roadstar frontwheel, I cut out the spokes, buy a 21 inch rim, have the hub and rim powdercoated black and then get new spokes. In this case you dont have to do anything to your brakes or axle. It looks like a stock Roadstar wheel but is a little bigger

Thats a great idea. Do you have any close up pics of the finished product?
