Mixing Tires- Shinko and Dunlop 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Anyone have experience mixing a Shinko rear and a Dunlop front? If so, any issues?

I've had a Dunlop rear and a Metzler front one time and had no riding issues. The metz was one made in Brazil and cracked on the sidewalls(ie'WhiteWall).

I have crossed numerous brands in bias ply and radial tires and never had any real problems. What I have found, is that Load Range B or C tires front and rear help hugely with handling and stability. 77H is the stuff. I caught Michelin Commanders on close-out at Joe Wilson for 59.95 each a couple of months ago. Put a 140/90 77H on the back and a 130/90 73H on the front. Run them at 36/40 pressure, and they rock. It is true, they needed a couple hundred break-in miles, but love them. Too bad they are out of production, in favor of the newest "Harley tire". Those will probably be good tires as well, but we all know that H-D stands for Hunnerd Dollars, which is the mere starting point for anything but a Tee shirt or bandana that has the logo on it.
