Come over and break my jam nut loose! I'm starting to think mine is welded on!!! And yes, righty-tighty, lefty-loosey!! Good luck getting your shock removed.

Do you have a manual? If not, I'll grab mine and give you the steps it says to take, if it will help you at all.

Thanks guys. I got the front nut off (rmoved horn to get at that) the problem is the rear bolt (closet to the rear wheel) I don't see how to get a wrench on it without taking the rear wheel off and part of the fender.

Hang on a second let me go out and take a look at my bike again, I am pretty sure that you get to the rear nut behind the rear horn and the front nut is in the clear, be back with you in a few minutes

Hey Chief, I looked in the Manual and it says take the rear wheel off. I was told it was not necessary, but right now I'm thinking other wise

Sorry, can't help with that, been 6yrs since I took my shock off to do the flip and grind, then put it back to stock. Was the reason I mentioned that it's a bit easier to take the rear off, a bit more time, but allows a bit more access and a clearer view and takes the wheel weight off the shock too

No I never take the rear wheel off when I am messing with the shock and spring, if you got the front nut off jack the bike all the way up and let the wheel drop as far as possible and you should be able to get to that back nut
