clutch not engaging 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
My friends bike will not roll if it is in gear while he grabs the clutch. This is only happening when the bike is turned off. What is the deal?

When the bike has set for a time (overnite even) the surface tension of the cooled oil will cause the clutch plates to stick together. As soon as you start the bike in neutral, then kick it into gear, you break them loose. Totally normal.

He said that it use to do it just every so often, but not it is doing it all the time. He can't move the bike around in the garage without putting it into neutral. Is there anything that can be done to fix the problem with the plates? Just curious why it is happening now.

I don't have any friends who would park their bike in gear. But my friends are old like me and grew up in a world without safety switches. Broken ankles and such were not uncommon.

And yes it is normal for the clutch on a monster V-Twin to be that sticky.
These things aren't scooters.
