I had about the same thing happen to me when I first bought my bike. Two days before I picked up my new bike I was in a car crash and way to banged up to ride. Had to see it sit in the driveway everyday for two weeks before I was finally able to ride it.

Take it easy, order Chrome and get well soon. Had to lay off a week meself after crashing my brand new roadie and that was long enough.

If I can get the insurance to straighten up my hospital and ambulance bill's I'll be good to go.

I have a torn rotator cuff and don't want surgery until winter. Just sit back and watch episodes of American Chopper and think of all the mods you can do on your bike.

Thanks everyone. I already know my first mod wil be the exhaust mod. My roadie is currently 100% stock 2007 with 1700 miles (total) on it. She needs some miles on her and she has to wait on me.

A lot of us experienced some down physical time in one shape or form. Seems the majority were due to crashes. Heal first then ride to your limitations. Still tender from mine but I don't push it.

Hope you heal quickly. Just some things for you to think about whwn you get aftermarket pipes. Get ASI removal kit and remove the asi and ajust carb. Others will probably jump in and give their advivce on this.

I'm in a similar situation. I have been feeling a back muscle pull coming for the last week....It finally decided to let go yesterday..BAD...while I was riding the bike! I was near my buddies machine shop, so i pulled in and barely got the bike on the sidestand before I went down. It sucks. Had to go to the ER because I couldn't stand up. I guess that Mustang seat didn't quite get here in time. I am confident that I'll be better in a few days. Anyway, speedy revovery man, I'll give you the wave when we pass. Did I mention the stock seat sucks?
